Design - Implementation and Improvement of Business Process
Question: Discuss about theDesign, Implementation and Improvement of Business Process. Answer: Introduction The essay depicts the importance of different software tools and other application that are needed to be adapted by different organizations to improve the BPMS engine. A critical reflection is constructed that demonstrates all the relevant aspects of design, implementation and improving processes (Kuranuki et. al. 2014, p. 75). During learning phase, different ways through which the business process has been progressed is illustrated. The essay dictates the importance of managing process in an organization and how it helps to improve my subject oriented knowledge are also demonstrated in this essay. It also helps to enhance the awareness among the learners while developing a business project or any business process. It also reflects the necessity of business process management in the workplace. Based on certain real life examples on the applications of BPMS architecture and their effective reflection on my study and knowledge development are also illustrated in this essay. Critical Reflection on Business Process Management System (BPMS) During the learning process, I have learned different aspect of business development processes and the core phase helped me to change the concept of business process. I have learnt that the academic knowledge is completely different from real life application and from the subject my level of understandings on the business process management has completely changed. There are certain levels that are needed to be maintained while developing a business process for any organization. Based on the topic of the business project, the data are collected from various resources by the development team of the organization (Wang, Liu Yang 2015, and p. 10). I realized that, the most important phases that are required to be followed includes proper designing approach, implementation of the design and depending on the consumers demand improvement of the project design. Four different perspectives are associated to the BPMS discussion such as the process centre view, the environment of the server and the database management system (Wallace et.al. 2013, p. 857). Advanced configuration is required to be implemented by the business organizations to overcome different issues. The Business Process Management System used by IBM helped me to understand the effective relationship between the server, database and other administrator tools. IBM uses the BPM version 7.5 one of the most advanced edition. The subject provides me lots of idea that helps me to increase the awareness programs about the importance of business managing processes. Different ways through which the organizational success can be measures are mostly dependent on the business architecture and the designed model developed by the project team (Langley et. al. 2013, p. 10). The organizational success is dependent on these different aspects. The reasons behind the importance of the subject are as follows: Different phases of Business Process Development and the factors of the Business Process Changes are clearly demonstrated in this subject. The different products of BMS including its overview, Moores technology and adaptation of the Life technologies that are required to develop the business projects are also mentioned in this subject. Not only this but also, with different real life application their positive and negative impact are also illustrated in this subject. Depending on the requirement of the consumers after implementation of a particular project, how to change the design approach to gain more revenue and competitive advantages from the market place are elaborated in this essay. I have understood the redesigning approach of the orders of process management, analysis of the order fulfillment, improvement of the design, its implementation and processing of new orders. I have taken active participation, in different discussion and activities and these discussions have helped me to develop my knowledge on designing, implementation and their improvement while required. In the initial phase my view regarding business process development was different but with the changing time and the implementation processes, my views also changed and the processes influenced me a lot to develop my point of thinking. From different aspects it has been found that, the IBM Business process management system is one of the most efficient business processes (Skouradaki Leymann 2015, p. 110). The process design is completely functional. In order to create, edit and manage the server environment eclipsed based applications are used for the business process management. I understood that the business process is based on web 2.0 technology framework. It provided a common user experience. I found that for managing the business process the architecture configured by IBM is highly configurable and the in order to run an efficient business these are very useful. I realized that, the process centre designed by the developer team is very effective from the business aspect. The process center deployed snapshot in terms of process server for testing, quality analyzing, and production (Hwang, Huang, Vukovic Anerousis 2015, p. 1004). The architecture also serves SOA service to the users. Through the implementation of these technologies a traditional business process can be developed and it influenced me a lot during the development of the business process in the real world application and the examples of BPMS architecture helped me a lot to develop my knowledge. In the workplace the learning experiences helped me to develop the business project I terms of designing, implementation and improvement as well. I have learned that the initial phase of business process development is the feasibility study. The feasibility or benefit analysis helps me to understand the beneficial aspects of the business process or to calculate whether the business process is beneficial for the organization or not (Rosemann vom Brocke 2015, p.109). If it is found that the process is not beneficial or not at all helping me to gain competitive advantages from the market then I will change the design approach and if I found that with certain additional changes the process will; become effective then also I will introduce the addition requirements with the business model. In order to build the business model I would have used the most effective software development life cycle that is incremental model. In the prototype model I can change the dummy after each and every e valuation. The model is efficient and not much costly from the business aspect. The model is capable to serve, desired result for the consumers. In order to store different data a database management system is used for manual adjustment and software are required to be used for design and project model development (Braglia Frosolini 2014, p. 20). Generally, for developing a business process I have studied different real world business process architecture such as the BPMS architecture developed by IBM. It helped me to understand how the knowledge management process can be implemented while developing an ICT business project for my workplace. The basic seven steps that are required to be maintained during the implementation period of the business projects are as follows: Identification of the problems that might occur during the business process implementation Taking initiative for the require changes Creation of a knowledge management team Concentrating on the performance of knowledge management including the audit and analysis Diagnostic key features of the solution and all possible options that could resolve the problem Creating blocks for knowledge management Linking up to the knowledge to different people Apart from these aspects there are certain things which are necessary to be adapted by the business process developers while building an efficient project (Skouradaki Leymann 2015, p. 112). I think that leadership and motivation are two other factors that are needed to be considered. In the above section, no such measuring distributed and open level guide managements are calculated. However, in some other aspects that are necessary to be kept includes the data collection process, research philosophies. The data must be collected from various resources and the information should be analyzed to define its importance in the business process (Wasilewski 2016, p. 854). If some of the collected data are found to be unnecessary then those should be removed from the database. In addition to this the business project manager should monitor and control the entire development programs and suggest the fellow team members to add the additional requirements those are necessary (Fuggetta Di Nitto 2014, p. 10). From the subject I have learnt the importance of understanding of software development tools, development lifecycle, and other necessary components of BMPS. I found the IBM business process management system very efficient and while developing a business project for my workplace I will definitely consider the IMB BPMS. Conclusion From the overall discussion it can be concluded that I have learned different aspects of business process development during the study of the subject. The process through which the academic knowledge could be converted into real world practice is also learned by during the study of the subjects. I have learnt through different practical examples such implementation of knowledge management in business progress, usage of different software development tools and software development life cycle for the business project etc. Not only this but I also learnt the effectiveness of cost benefit analysis and return on investment measurement for calculating the importance of the business project that has been introduced by the business project developers. Certain necessary steps should be taken by the business developers to process the business project in the real field of application. If the developed process or the outcome of the business process are found to be not at all enough effective the n the prototype model must be changed as per the user requirement.
